Note :
- Read the user manual booklet before using this appliance.
- This appliance is for indoor domestic use only.
- Children cannot play with the jug kettle.
- The jug kettle and power base form an integral appliance. Do not use other jug kettle with this power base, or this jug kettle with other base.
- Do not place the power base unit on a metal tray or metal surface when plugged into power source.
- Keep the jug kettle away from children less than the age of 8.
- Do not touch the body of the jug kettle when it is hot. Always hold the handle of the jug kettle.
- Close the lid of the jug kettle before boiling. This is for the thermostat to switch off after the water reached boiling level to avoid boil dry.
- Put the jug kettle away from hot surfaces and objects that can be damaged by heat.
- Leave at least 20cm space around the jug kettle for steam to escape.
- Do not put the boiling jug kettle under a cupboard or shelf.
- Before using the jug kettle for the first time or after storage,
- fill the jug kettle with fresh water and boil the water
- pour away the boiled water
- repeat for two to three times, the jug kettle is now ready to use
- Be careful when opening the lid for refilling when the jug kettle is hot.
- Switch off the power supply and disconnect the power cord before filling or emptying the jug kettle, before cleaning and when the jug kettle is not in use.
- Do not immerse the jug kettle and the power cord in water.
- Allow the jug kettle to cool down before cleaning.
- Do not use chemical, steel wood or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the jug kettle.
- Fill the jug kettle with 0.5L white vinegar and the remainder with water and leave it for over 1 hour.
- Empty the solution inside the jug kettle. Use a wet cloth to wipe off the remaining mineral deposits.
- Fill the jug kettle with clean water, boil and pour away the water. Repeat this step and the jug kettle is ready to use.
- Use a wet cloth to wipe the surface of the kettle and polished with a soft dry cloth.
- If any part of this appliance is damaged or malfunctioned, or the connecting cord or plug is broken, do not continue to use it.
